About this cook gift
Cooks work in heat, noise and tight quarters, and most of what they wear gets splattered by the end of a shift. That's why a gift for one should be easy to wash and fun to put on when the apron finally comes off. A soft tee for a day off, a hoodie for the walk-in cooler or the cold drive home after close, a mug that sits by the coffee pot and doesn't get borrowed. Cooks come in every kind, though: line cook, short-order cook, camp cook, the home cook who feeds the whole family on Sundays. Put their station on the second line, or the name of the place they work, and it stops being a generic cook shirt. Cook is also a common last name, so the same design works for a family of Cooks. If you're buying for a whole kitchen, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name, which beats another round of staff meal.
All cook gifts →- A tee with their stationType Grill, Sauté, Pastry or Night Shift on the second line so the shirt says what they actually do.
- A name mug for the passAn 11oz mug with their name on it keeps the good one from walking off with a coworker.
- Matching shirts for the kitchen crewChoose one design in the Team Shop, paste the crew's names, and pick a size for each person. It makes a good holiday or end-of-season gift.
- A hoodie for the ride homeAfter a late close, a hoodie with their name or a cook design on it is the first thing they'll reach for.
