About this basenji dog gift
A basenji is a barkless dog from central Africa, known for its curled tail, wrinkled forehead and a habit of washing itself like a cat. Owners of these dogs tend to love their quirks: the yodel-like sounds they make instead of barking, the way they climb onto counters, and the stubborn independence that makes training an ongoing negotiation. A gift for a basenji owner should reflect that personality. A tee with the dog's name and the word Basenji is an easy win for a walk to the park, where people always ask what kind of dog that is. A hoodie suits the cold-weather walker, and a mug with the dog's name on it fits the morning routine of someone who starts the day with a coffee and a dog leaning on their leg. Add the dog's name in the second line of any design so the gift is about their particular basenji, not just the breed.
