About this burtrum gift
Burtrum is a small place, and the people who come from it tend to be proud of that. A shirt or mug with the town name is a way of saying where you're from without a long explanation, and it's the kind of thing a person keeps even after they've moved away. Small towns also have their own rhythms: church suppers, Friday night games, the same few roads everybody drives. A shirt that says Burtrum on the front works for a homecoming visit, a family reunion, or just the everyday commute through town. For someone who left and built a life somewhere bigger, a hoodie or mug with the town name is a quiet reminder of home. You can change the main word or add a second line for a street, a year or a family name, so the design feels like theirs and not like a souvenir from a gas station.
