About this childcare assistant gift
A childcare assistant spends the day on the floor with toddlers, wiping hands, reading the same picture book a dozen times and keeping track of who's had a nap. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that work is physical and loving at once. A soft tee for a long shift, a hoodie for the cold drive in before sunrise, or a mug for the break room where the coffee is always a little too hot. Adding their own name, or the age group they work with such as infants, toddlers or preschool, makes the gift specific to the job they actually do. If you're buying for a whole center team, a Team Shop order with one design and each person's name gives everyone something to wear on the same day, which is a nice way to say thanks to the people who keep the building running.
