About this cohocton gift
Cohocton is a small town in Steuben County, New York, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how a former Cohocton kid says hometown when they're far from home, or how a current resident wears it to a county fair, a high school reunion or a holiday visit back. Small towns have a particular kind of pride, and a plain tee with the name on the front tends to start conversations at the airport or the gas station. For a gift, think about who in their life left and who stayed. The person who moved for work might want a mug for the morning reminder of home. The one who never left might like a hoodie they can wear through the long winters. You can make it theirs by adding a second line with a graduation year, a street, a family name or whatever the town means to them. Many designs also come in kids sizes and baby onesies, so the next generation can start wearing it early.
