About this facility maintenance manager gift
Facility maintenance managers keep the lights on, the HVAC running and the roof from leaking, usually without anyone noticing unless something goes wrong. Their days run from work orders and vendor calls to late-night emergencies when a pump fails or a boiler quits in January. They tend to be practical people who would rather have a sturdy, useful thing than something fancy. A hoodie for cold mornings on the loading dock, a dark tee for the shop, or a mug for the coffee they drink standing up while they review the day's tickets will all land well. To make it theirs, put their job title on the shirt and add their facility, building or campus on the second line, or their first name if the crew wears these together. A shirt that names the work they actually do tells them you've paid attention to it, which is more than most people manage.
