About this fort meade gift
Fort Meade is home to a lot of people who've lived on Army posts, worked for the installation, or grown up in the Anne Arundel County area of Maryland. A shirt or mug with Fort Meade on it is a way for someone to claim that place, whether they're still nearby or have moved across the country. Many people with a connection to the base think of it as a community more than a town, so a design that shows where they're from or where they served says more than a generic souvenir. You can add a second line for a year they were stationed, a unit, or the name of a neighborhood or school they remember. For someone who has moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of home. For a family member who grew up on post, a hoodie makes a good winter gift they'll actually wear.
