About this glassblowing gift
A glassblower spends their days next to a furnace running hot enough to turn sand into something you can drink from, and most of the work happens in a few seconds of careful spinning and breath. The people who love this craft tend to love the studio too: the heat, the color of molten glass, the tools worn smooth by use. A shirt or mug with Glassblowing on it is a nod to all of that. Add a second line for their studio, their shop name or the year they started, and it becomes theirs. Glassblowers are also in the habit of making things by hand and giving them away, so a gift that's handmade in spirit fits well. It suits anyone who has spent a summer watching a glass demonstration and started to wonder how it's done.
