About this godfrey gift
Godfrey is a small town in Illinois, a little north of St. Louis, and most people who live there know everyone at the post office by first name. A Godfrey shirt is how someone from there says where they're from when they're far away, whether that's a college dorm, a job two states over, or a family reunion where half the room has never heard of the place. It's a name people usually have to explain, which is part of the fun: the shirt starts the conversation. For the hometown person who has left, a mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie for the cold months is the easy choice. Add a second line with the zip code, a graduating class or a street name and the design becomes theirs rather than generic town merch.
