About this guilderland gift
Guilderland is a town in Albany County, New York, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A Guilderland shirt is how a former resident wears the place: at a reunion, on a visit home, or just to show a coworker where they're really from. The town has its own schools, and many of its graduates end up scattered across the country, so a Guilderland hoodie or mug can mean a lot to someone who has been away for years. If the person you're shopping for is a parent, a teacher or a local volunteer, the design can say something about the work they've done in the community. Adding a graduating class year or the name of a school makes the gift feel earned rather than generic, and it turns a town name into a story the recipient can tell.
