About this merricourt gift
Merricourt is a name you probably have to explain to most people, and that's exactly why a shirt with it on the front means something to the person who grew up there or moved away. A hometown with a small, specific name carries a lot of memory: the main street, the high school football game, the diner everyone went to after. A tee or hoodie is how someone wears that without making a speech. For the former resident who now lives somewhere much bigger, a mug is a quiet reminder of home every morning. A kids shirt or onesie can start the next generation's story about where they're from. Because the name is less familiar, the words under it do most of the work, so a second line with the street, the high school class year, or the place they still call home is what turns a town name into their town.
