About this milton freewater gift
Milton-Freewater is a small city in the far northeast corner of Oregon, tucked against the Washington line in the Walla Walla Valley. People who grew up there tend to hold onto it, whether they stayed to farm, moved off for school, or came back after years away. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a county fair, or a college campus where nobody has heard of it. Since the town is small, a second line can do the work a big city's skyline would: add the year they graduated, a family name, or the street they grew up on. For someone who left, a Milton-Freewater mug is a daily reminder of home. For someone who stayed, a hoodie with the town name is the one they'll wear to every cold morning at the grain elevator or the high school game.
