About this rockaway beach gift
Rockaway Beach is a surf-and-sand place that people tend to carry with them, whether they still live close enough to take the subway out on a summer weekend or have moved somewhere landlocked and miss the ocean. A shirt that says Rockaway Beach is how they wear that: for the first warm Saturday of the year, for a trip back to visit family, or just for the mornings when the coffee needs a reminder of where they're from. Beach towns carry a particular kind of pride, and a hoodie is the easy gift for the cold months, when the shoreline is a memory. For a kid who spends summers building sandcastles, a kids tee or a baby onesie with the name on it becomes part of the beach story. Add a second line with a street, a year, or the name of the family's usual spot, and the shirt stops being a souvenir and starts being theirs.
