About this šarplaninac gift
The Šarplaninac, also called the Illyrian Sheepdog, is a large, thick-coated guardian dog from the mountains of the western Balkans, where it has long protected flocks from wolves and bears. Owners tend to describe a calm, watchful presence rather than a bouncy one, and many spend their days patrolling a yard or sitting near the front door. If the person you're shopping for has one, or has been dreaming about one, a shirt with the breed name is a way to say you've noticed what they care about. Their coat is heavy and often light-colored, so a light tee or a hoodie in a warm tone suits the look of the dog itself. Because the name has unfamiliar letters, check the spelling in the preview before ordering, and add the dog's name on the second line if there is one. A mug with the breed name and the dog's name gives the morning coffee routine a little company.
