About this tetra gift
A tetra is one of the small schooling fish that fill freshwater aquariums, most often the neon tetra with its electric blue stripe and red tail. People who keep them tend to be patient, a little bit obsessed, and very proud of a tank that looks right. A tetra shirt suits the hobbyist who spends weekends testing water and rearranging plants, and it's a fun pick for anyone who's ever stood in front of a tank and lost track of time. Tetras are also a common first fish for kids, so a kids tee or a onesie can mark an aquarium that's just getting started. For a gift that feels personal, write the name of their tank or the year they set it up on the second line, so the shirt becomes part of their own story with the fish.
