About this windfall gift
Windfall is a small town name in parts of the US, and most people who live there have a story about why they stayed or why they came back. A shirt with the town name is a way to say that out loud at a family reunion, a high school game or a hometown picnic where everyone already knows who's from where. Since the word is a place rather than a job or a team, the best gifts lean on what the town means to the person: the streets they grew up on, the year they moved in, the folks who wave from the porch. Because I don't know much about this particular town, the safest way to make it personal is to add something only you and they would recognize, like a street name, a family nickname or the year they left or returned. A hoodie suits a cold-weather town, and a mug suits the person who misses it from a distance.
