About this labradoodle gift
A Labradoodle is a mix of a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle, and most owners will tell you that the coat is the main event. Curly, low-shedding, often gold, cream or chocolate, it gets called a doodle, a designer dog and a best friend in roughly equal measure. People who love their Labradoodle tend to talk about it constantly: the walk they take every morning, the shaggy face that shows up in every photo, the way the dog greets the mail carrier like an old friend. A gift that features the breed name works because it's about something they already obsess over. Think of the dog-walking coffee run, the vet visits, the trip to the dog park where everyone asks what kind of dog that is. Add the dog's name in the second line and the design stops being a breed shirt and becomes that particular dog's shirt. It's the kind of gift a dog owner shows people and then wears to the next dog park.
