About this supervisor union gift
A supervisor in a union shop usually sits between the crew and the front office, which makes the job a balancing act. They're the one who gets the grievance first, who has to keep the schedule running when someone calls out, and who explains the contract to people who have been there longer than they have. A gift that acknowledges that middle position lands well. A tee or hoodie with supervisor union on it is something they can wear to a steward meeting or a holiday potluck without it feeling like a work badge. For the day-to-day, an 11 oz mug gives them a reason to sit down for five minutes before the next shift handoff. Add the local number or the shop name in the second line if you know it, so the gift says exactly which crew they lead.
