About this west unity gift
West Unity is a small village in northwest Ohio, and the people who grew up there tend to stay connected to it even after they move on. A West Unity shirt is how they show it at a high school reunion, at a county fair, or on a visit home at the holidays. Because the name is specific, it works best when paired with something personal: the year they graduated, the family name, or the reason they keep coming back. Former residents who moved away often find a mug on the kitchen counter a daily reminder of where they're from. For a new baby born into the family, a West Unity onesie is a way to start a hometown tradition before the baby can say a word. Since the place is small, the shirt will be one of the few of its kind in the room, which is part of its charm.
