About this audiovisual technician gift
Audiovisual technicians are the people who make the room work. They run the sound board during a keynote, patch the projector into the lectern, chase a dead wireless mic minutes before the lights go down, and mostly get noticed only when something goes wrong. Long setup days, cable runs, load-ins at odd hours and a lot of standing in dark rooms are part of the job. A gift that acknowledges that work lands better than a generic work shirt. Put the title on the shirt, or a line like A/V Tech or Audiovisual Crew, and add their venue or company name in the second line if you know it. A hoodie is practical for cold venues and early calls, and a mug is a good fit for the tech who lives in the booth with a coffee going cold. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better thank-you than another round of donuts.
