About this daycare director gift
A daycare director runs the building. They handle parent calls before the first coffee, sort out a staffing gap at seven in the morning, sit through licensing paperwork, and still find time to sing at circle time. Most of the day is spent making sure the children are safe, fed and happy while the adults around them stay sane. A gift that acknowledges that work lands best when it's something they can use in the office or wear on a day off from the phones. A mug for the desk, where the coffee goes cold while they answer one more question. A hoodie for the cold drive in before the buses arrive. A tee for the staff picnic or the end-of-year party, where they can finally sit down. Add the word director and the center's name or the year they took over, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic thank-you.
