About this director floor gift
A floor director runs the show from the sidelines of a live set, calling cues, keeping talent and crew on time, and holding a stopwatch while everything goes sideways. They spend long days on their feet, usually in a headset, and they're often the calmest person in the room. A gift that lands for them is something practical for the shoot days: a soft tee for the drive to the studio, a hoodie for the cold stage or the early load-in, or a mug for the coffee that gets cold while they're calling the next segment. Put the title on it, floor director, and you've said you know what the job is. If the crew is ordering together, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better wrap gift than another sandwich tray. Most of all, write their name on it, so the crew sees them as the one holding the production together.
