About this madeline gift
Madeline is the kind of name that gets shortened a dozen ways. Maddie, Madi, Mads, Lina, Maddy with a y. So the first decision when you're buying for a Madeline is which version she actually answers to, and you can type it just the way she writes it. A Madeline might be two weeks old, ten and obsessed with horses, or a college senior with a thesis due, and the same name works across all of those. For a baby, a onesie with her name on it is the first thing the grandparents ask about. For a kid, a tee with her name and a favorite thing underneath, a sport or an animal or a grade, feels like hers in a way a store-bought shirt doesn't. For an adult, a hoodie or mug with her name and a year, a team or a nickname makes a gift she'll reach for. If a few Madelines are in the family, a second line keeps them from mixing up their stuff.
All madeline gifts →- A baby onesie with her nameA Madeline onesie is an easy pick for a newborn announcement or a baby shower, and it photographs well for the first few months.
- A kids tee with her name and a favorite thingUse the second line for her sport, her grade or her pet's name, so the tee looks like it was made for her specifically.
- A mug for the Maddie who lives on coffeeType whichever spelling or nickname she uses on an 11 oz mug. It's a small gift that ends up on her desk every morning.
- A hoodie for a graduation or birthdayPut Madeline and a year on a hoodie for a grad, or her age for a milestone birthday, and she'll have something to wear well past the party.
