About this sound designer gift
A sound designer spends their days building the sounds a story needs: a door creak in a horror film, the hum of a spaceship, the crunch of footsteps on gravel in a game. Much of that work happens in headphones, late, in a dim studio or a home setup full of cables and foam. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that nod to the craft without being cute about it. A dark tee is good for the studio, where they're wearing black anyway. A hoodie suits the long sessions when the room runs cold. A mug on the desk is the one thing that stays with them through the whole mixing pass. Put their job title on the front, and add a second line for a project name, a studio or the year they started. That turns a generic profession shirt into one that belongs to them. If you're buying for a whole team of sound people, the Team Shop can print one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
All sound designer gifts →- A dark tee for the studioSound designers often work in dim rooms, so a dark shirt with their title in light print suits the setting. Add a project name or studio on the second line.
- A hoodie for long sessionsMany sound people end up in a cold room for hours with headphones on. A hoodie with their job title keeps them warm through the late mixes.
- A mug for the deskAn 11 oz mug with their title or name keeps the coffee where they're working and gives the desk a personal touch.
- Matching shirts for a sound teamPick one design in the Team Shop and paste the names of everyone on the crew. Each person gets their own size.
