About this therapist occupational gift
Occupational therapists spend their days helping people relearn the everyday things: buttoning a shirt, getting dressed for school, holding a fork, getting back to work after an injury. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that feel like they were picked by someone who understands that kind of patient, hands-on work. A soft tee for a long clinic day, a hoodie for the chilly treatment room, a mug for the coffee that always goes cold between sessions. Consider the setting they work in: pediatrics, hand therapy, geriatrics, or a school district. Adding that second line makes the shirt theirs. Graduation from an OT program and passing the board exam are both milestones worth marking with a hoodie or mug that carries their new title.
