About this berthoud gift
Berthoud is a small town in northern Colorado, and the people who call it home tend to care about it in a quiet, rooted way. A shirt with the town name is the kind of thing a long-time resident wears to the grocery store, to a local event, or on a trip out of state when they want someone to ask where that is. Because the town is small, a Berthoud gift often means more to someone who has lived there for years or who grew up in the area and moved away. For the relative who still gets homesick, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder. For a new arrival, a hoodie in the cold months says they belong. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a street, a neighborhood, a graduating class year or a family name underneath. Starting from the town name and adding one detail from their life is usually what makes a Berthoud gift feel personal rather than generic.
