About this camp counselor gift
Camp counselors spend their summers running on little sleep, bug spray and a lot of enthusiasm, and the people they look after are usually watching for every sign that they care. A gift that marks the job lands well: a tee they can wear to the lake, a hoodie for the chilly bus ride home, or a mug for the early-morning coffee before the campers wake up. The details that matter are the camp itself, the cabin or age group they work with, and the summer they did it. Put the camp name or the session year on a second line, or name the cabin, and the shirt stops being generic and becomes a memory. Counselors often finish the season with a stack of friendship bracelets and inside jokes, so a shirt that carries the job title reads as a thank-you for the whole summer. Counselors who work the summer and then head back to school often get the most use out of a hoodie.
