About this child care assistant gift
Child care assistants spend their days helping toddlers with snack time, naps and the endless question of why the sky is blue, often on their feet and on the floor at the same time. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that acknowledge the work without making a fuss. A soft tee for the drive to the center, a hoodie for the chilly mornings before the heat kicks on, a mug for the coffee they finally get to drink while it's still warm. Putting their name on it, and adding the age group they work with, such as infants, toddlers or preschool, makes the gift feel like it was picked for them and not for a generic job title. If you're shopping for a whole classroom or center team, one shared design with each person's name printed on their own shirt is a practical way to say thank you that everyone can wear together.
