About this collator operator gift
A collator operator runs the machine that gathers printed pages into sets, usually in a print shop, bindery or mailing house, and much of the work happens on their feet beside a loud, steady line. The people who do this job tend to notice when someone understands what the day actually involves: the early starts, the jams cleared between jobs, the count that has to come out right. A gift that names the job plainly, instead of a generic joke about paper, lands better than most. Type collator operator into a design so it reads as their job title, and add the shop or the department on a second line if you know it. A shirt suits the drive in, a hoodie helps through a cold loading dock, and a mug earns its place at the break table where everyone's cups look the same. Keep the wording simple and let the job name do the talking.
