About this doctoral fellowship gift
A doctoral fellow is usually deep into years of research, lab hours, grant applications and writing that seems to have no end. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the grind: a hoodie for the cold library mornings, a mug for the coffee that keeps the experiments moving, a tee for the day they finally defend. Fellowship funding often means a stipend and a small lab or a shared office, so a personal mug or shirt is something they can take with them when they move labs or start a postdoc. Put the field or the department on a second line if the design allows it, and the shirt turns into a little piece of their own story. Whatever you choose, the detail that matters most is the one only you would know, like the year they started or the thesis topic they can talk about for an hour without stopping.
All doctoral fellowship gifts →- A hoodie for the labLabs are cold and the hours are long, so a warm hoodie with their fellowship title earns daily wear.
- A mug for the long writing sessionsAn 11oz mug with their title is the one they'll reach for during the thesis push.
- A tee for the defense dayOrder a tee in their size to wear for the moment everything they've worked toward gets decided.
