About this east cambridge gift
East Cambridge is the older, working side of the river from Harvard and MIT, a neighborhood of brick walk-ups, long-time families and people who have lived within a few blocks of the same corner for decades. Someone from here often keeps a strong sense of place even after they move to the suburbs or across the country. A shirt with East Cambridge on it says exactly where they're from, which a general Cambridge design can't quite do. Put it on a hoodie for the cold walk to the T, or on a mug for the kitchen of someone who misses the neighborhood. If you're a former neighbor or a family member buying for someone who moved away, the second line is where you can add a street, a year they lived there, or a nickname the block used for them. That detail is what makes it theirs and not just a city shirt.
