About this leawood gift
Leawood is a suburb in the Kansas City metro, and most people who live there have a reason to be proud of it: good schools, tree-lined streets and a town center that feels like a place rather than a strip mall. A Leawood shirt is how they say so at the kids' games, on a weekend walk, or on a trip back to visit family who stayed put. It also works for the people who went away for college or work and kept the town close. Pair the city name with a second line for the street, a school year or the family name, and the shirt becomes about their particular Leawood rather than a generic souvenir. A mug suits the one who still starts the morning there, and a hoodie fits the cold Kansas winters that come with living on the plains.
