About this pickaway gift
Pickaway is a county name, and that makes it a little different from a city: the people who carry it are usually from a county seat or a farm town spread across it, and they tend to be proud of the whole place rather than one street. A Pickaway shirt is a way to claim that home, whether they're still there or have moved on. It works for the grandparent who's lived in the area for decades, for the high school grad heading off to college, and for the transplant who misses the drive home. Because the name is a regional identity more than a headline, a tee or hoodie that says Pickaway with a second line for the town they grew up in, or the year they left, reads as personal rather than like a souvenir. A mug is a good pick for the older relative who'd rather have something to hold than something to wear. Pick the product that fits how they spend their days, add the detail only they would recognize, and the gift lands.
