About this potsdam gift
Potsdam is a village in northern New York, home to SUNY Potsdam and a fair number of people who stayed on after college or moved back to raise families near the St. Lawrence River. The people who love this place tend to love it hard, whether that's a student who spent four years in the North Country or a local who never left. A shirt with Potsdam on it works as a bit of hometown pride for someone who lives there now, and as a reminder for someone who's gone. Students and alumni often want something tied to their years on campus, so a hoodie or tee with the town name and their graduation year can carry a lot of meaning. For a Potsdam transplant, a mug with the town on it is the morning reminder of where they came from. Add a second line for a year, a street or a class, and the design becomes specific to them rather than a generic town souvenir.
