About this publications supervisor gift
A publications supervisor keeps the words in order. They run the schedules, chase the proofs, catch the typo that made it past three editors, and make sure the right document lands on the right desk on time. The work is mostly invisible when it goes well, which is why a gift with their job title on it tends to land. It's a little tongue-in-cheek and a little sincere, the kind of shirt that says someone noticed what they do all day. Think about where they spend their time: at a desk with a coffee going cold, in a meeting about a deadline that moved again, reading a draft for the fourth time. A mug fits that routine well. A tee works for the weekend, when they finally get to stop reviewing things. A hoodie suits the office that always runs cold. Put their job title on the front, add a second line with their department, team or a name, and the design becomes theirs rather than a generic office joke.
All publications supervisor gifts →- A mug for the editing deskAn 11 oz mug with their title gets used every morning while they're reading proofs. Add their name on the second line so it stays theirs in a shared office.
- A tee for the weekendThey spend all week making other people's words correct, so a soft tee that says publications supervisor is a fun way to sign off on Friday.
- A hoodie for the cold conference roomPublication offices often keep the thermostat low, so a hoodie with their title gives them something warm to wear through long review sessions.
- A shirt for the whole publications teamPick one design in the Team Shop, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person so everyone gets their own shirt.
