About this skanee gift
Skanee is a small unincorporated community on the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and I don't know enough about the place to say much beyond that. What I can say is that a town this small tends to mean a lot to the people tied to it: the ones who grew up there, the ones who left and still call it home, and the ones who visit for summers on the lake or drives along the peninsula. A shirt, hoodie or mug with the name is a way to say where you're from without any explanation. Put the name on the front, and if you know a detail that matters to them, such as a year they lived there or the road or lake they grew up near, add it on the second line. The preview will show you how it sits before you order.
