About this sutherlin gift
Sutherlin is a small city in Douglas County, Oregon, tucked into the Umpqua Valley, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt or mug with the town name is how a former resident shows they're still from there, whether they're at a college dorm in Eugene or a job two states away. Sutherlin is a place where people know each other, so a gift that names the town lands as a small piece of home rather than a generic souvenir. For a grad heading off to school, a hoodie with the town name and their graduation year marks where they started. For a parent or grandparent who stayed put, a mug with the town name works well on a kitchen shelf. You can add a second line for a year, a street, or a nickname to make the design theirs.
