About this schenectady gift
Schenectady people tend to have a strong sense of place, whether they grew up on the Mohawk River, worked at one of the old plants that once made the city a manufacturing hub, or just know that the name is the first thing people get wrong. A Schenectady shirt is a way to claim that history and say it out loud. It suits someone who has lived there for decades, someone who left for college and came back, or someone who moved to the area and fell for the small-city feel. Think about the person's own connection to the city: a neighborhood, a street, the school they went to, or the year they moved in. Add that as the second line and the design stops being a generic city souvenir. A hoodie works well for the cold Capital Region winters, a mug for the morning routine, and a kids tee or onesie for a child who is just getting started with the family's hometown pride.
