About this herring gift
Herring is a family name, which usually means a long line of relatives who all want to be in the same photo. A Herring shirt is how cousins find each other at the reunion, and it's the picture everyone keeps. Add the reunion year, the town the family started in, or the name of the grandparent who held everyone together, and the shirt turns a scattered group into a team. Herring shirts also suit weddings, family vacations and holiday photos where everybody wants to match. A mug with the family name fits the grandparents' kitchen, which is where the whole family ends up anyway. If you're organizing, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's first name on their own shirt, so nobody has to sort out a size chart in a group text.
