About this nielsen gift
Nielsen is a Danish patronymic, a name that means son of Niels, and a lot of families who carry it have a story about where it came from. The name shows up on reunion shirts, on wedding party tees and on the mug that lives by the coffee maker at a grandparent's house. A shirt that says Nielsen is how a family finds each other in a crowd at a picnic, and it's the photo everyone keeps for years afterward. Add a reunion year, a town, or the first names of the people wearing it, and the shirt stops being a generic last-name design and becomes a record of who was there. Baby onesies with the family name make a good welcome gift for a new arrival who'll grow into a whole line of Nielsens. If you're organizing a group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's first name on their own shirt, so nobody has to sort out sizes over a group text.
