Picking a gift for an academic adviser
Academic advisers are the people students remember long after they've forgotten which semester they dropped organic chemistry. They untangle degree audits, talk first-years out of panic at registration time, and quietly celebrate when a student they've worked with for four years finally walks across the stage. The job is mostly invisible, so a gift that says someone noticed lands harder than you'd expect. A mug for the desk where the office-hours line never quite ends is a safe bet, and a hoodie covers the cold campus building with the temperamental thermostat. Make it theirs by typing their name, or a line like Class of 2025 or Undeclared Whisperer, into the second line of a design. If you're buying for a whole advising office, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which beats a card everyone signs in the last five minutes of a staff meeting. Graduation season and the end of a semester are the natural moments to say thanks.
Academic Adviser gift questions
Can I add a name or a class year to an academic adviser design?
Yes. Type their name into the text box, and on designs with a second line you can add a class year or a short phrase. The preview updates as you type, so you can check it before you order.
What's a good thank-you gift for an adviser who helped me graduate?
A mug or tee with their name and your graduation year works well. It's small, useful, and shows you remember the semesters they helped you sort out.
Can I change the wording to faculty adviser or advisor?
Yes. Both spellings are common, so type whichever one they use. You can also swap in a different title, like success coach or program adviser.
Can a department order shirts for all its advisers?
Yes. In the Team Shop, pick one design, paste each adviser's name, and choose a size for each person. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the academic adviser shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an academic adviser gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
