Picking a gift for an academic advisor
Academic advisors spend their days helping students sort out a degree plan, a schedule that finally works, or a hard conversation about changing majors. Most of that work happens one-on-one, and a lot of it goes unseen until a student walks across a stage and thanks them. The gifts that land are the ones that say someone noticed. A mug is a natural fit for a desk that sees back-to-back appointments, and a soft tee or hoodie suits an office that runs cold in January and gets loud during registration. Make it theirs by adding their name, the college or department they work in, or a line about what they do best, like Class Schedule Whisperer. If you're a student saying thanks, a small personal gift often means more than a card alone. If you're a department head, the Team Shop lets you order one design for the whole advising office, with each person's name on their own shirt.
Academic Advisor gift questions
Can I put the advisor's department or college on the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line where you can type a department, college or office name. The preview updates as you type, so you can check it before ordering.
What's a good gift from a student to an academic advisor?
Something personal and useful, like a mug with their name or a tee with your graduation year. It's a small way to say you remember the help, and it's easy for them to use at work.
Can I order for an entire advising office?
Yes. In the Team Shop, pick one design, paste the list of names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with that person's own name.
Are there designs with a funny take on advising?
Many designs lean on the humor of the job, like schedule-fixing and degree-plan jokes. Browse the designs above and personalize the wording to fit your advisor.
What sizes do the academic advisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an academic advisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
