Picking a gift for an academic director
An academic director sits between the teachers, the students, the families and the budget, and most days that means a lot of meetings and very little thanks. The gifts that land are the ones that notice the work nobody sees: the schedule that finally fit together, the curriculum review, the parent who left happy. A soft tee or hoodie is something they'll wear on the weekend, and a mug earns a permanent spot on a desk that's always covered in paper. Make it theirs by typing their name or the title in full, or add the school, the program or the department on the second line. If you're a teacher or staff member buying for the person who leads you, a shared gift from the whole faculty tends to mean more than one from you alone. The end of the school year and the start of a new term are the natural moments, along with a retirement or a move to a new school.
Academic Director gift questions
Can I type the title exactly how they use it?
Yes. Type Academic Director, or a variation like Director of Academics or Academic Program Director, into the text box and the preview updates so you can check how it fits.
Can I add the name of a school or program?
Many designs have a second line. Use it for the school name, the department or the program, and check the spacing in the preview before you order.
What's a good gift from a whole staff?
Use the Team Shop to order one design with each person's name, or pick a mug for the director with a short thank-you line. Group gifts work well at the end of the year.
Are there options for the director's kids or a new baby?
Some designs come as kids tees and a baby onesie. Use the product filter on the page to see which ones are available.
What sizes do the academic director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an academic director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
