Picking a gift for an academic internship
An academic internship is the stretch where a student first gets to act like a professional. They're commuting to an office or a lab, sitting in meetings they barely understand, learning what a coworker's Slack message actually means. The gifts that work for them are small, wearable and a little proud. A hoodie for the chilly, over-air-conditioned office. A mug for the desk they've been handed for the summer. A tee for the weekend, when they want to remember they're still a student. If you're buying for a student, put their name on it, then use the second line for the field, the semester or the year: Marketing Intern, Spring 2026, Pre-Med. If you're buying for a group, like a cohort or a lab, one design with everyone's name on their own shirt makes the experience feel shared. And if it's a thank-you for the person who supervised them, a mug says appreciated without making it awkward.
Academic Internship gift questions
Can I put a field or title on the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line where you can type something like Research Intern, Pre-Law or Biology. The preview updates as you type, so you can check how it looks before ordering.
What's a good thank-you gift for an internship supervisor?
A mug is a safe, warm choice. Put their name on it, or a short line like Best Mentor. It's personal without being over the top for a work relationship.
Can I add the semester or year?
Yes. Type something like Fall 2025 or Summer 2026 into the second line of any design that has one. It's a nice detail for a keepsake.
Can I order matching shirts for a whole internship program?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the academic internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an academic internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
