Picking a gift for an acquisition director
An acquisition director spends their days finding the next book, the next artist, the next deal, and then convincing a room of skeptics it's worth the bet. The job runs on instinct, relationships and a lot of reading, much of it after hours. That's useful to know when you're shopping. The gifts that land are the ones that feel like a nod from someone who gets what the work costs them: a soft tee for the weekend manuscript pile, a hoodie for the cold conference room, a mug that holds enough coffee for a long acquisitions meeting. Type in their title, their name, or the imprint or company they build lists for, and the preview shows you how it reads before you order. A new promotion is a natural moment, and so is a team wrap-up after a strong season. If you're buying for a whole department, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name.
Acquisition Director gift questions
Can I add the company or imprint name to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the company or imprint there, or use it for a name or year instead. The preview updates so you can check the fit.
What's a good gift for a newly promoted acquisition director?
A hoodie or tee with their new title and the year is a safe pick. It marks the promotion and it's something they'll actually wear.
Can I use a different title like acquisitions editor or director of acquisitions?
Yes. Type whatever title they actually hold into the text box and the designs update. Check the preview for spacing, since longer titles may wrap onto two lines.
Are there designs for a whole acquisitions department?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the acquisition director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an acquisition director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
