Picking a gift for an activities aide
An activities aide is the person who makes the day worth getting up for. In a nursing home, assisted living community or memory care unit, they're running bingo, setting up the craft table, wheeling residents to the garden and leading the sing-along that somehow gets everyone humming. It's patient, hands-on work, mostly on their feet, and it rarely comes with much thanks. That's why a gift that says you noticed goes a long way. A soft tee or hoodie they can wear to work and then keep wearing after, a mug for the break room, something that doesn't look like a generic thank-you. Make it theirs by typing in their name, or by changing the second line to the thing they're known for: Bingo Queen, Craft Hour, Memory Care or Sunshine Crew. If you're buying for a whole activities department, one shared design with each person's name keeps the team matching without anyone guessing sizes.
Activities Aide gift questions
Can I put the name of the facility or unit on the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in the unit, like Memory Care or Sunshine Wing, or a facility name. Check the preview for spacing before you order.
Is there a good time to give an activities aide a gift?
Anytime works, but staff appreciation days, the holidays and the end of a long summer event season are natural moments. A small personal gift lands better than a big generic one.
Can residents' families chip in on one gift?
Yes. Pick one design, add the aide's name, and have a few families share the cost. A mug or hoodie with a short line like Our Favorite Aide feels personal without being fussy.
What if their title is different, like activities assistant or director?
Just type the exact title into the text box. The preview updates, so you can use Activities Director, Activities Assistant or whatever's on their name tag.
What sizes do the activities aide shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an activities aide gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
