Picking a gift for an activities director
An activities director is the person who makes a care community feel like a community. They run the bingo and the bus trips, wrangle the craft supplies, set up the chairs for live music, and somehow remember that Mr. Alvarez only comes down if there's a card game. It's a job with a lot of lugging, a lot of laminating and a lot of heart, and most of it happens on their feet. The gifts that land are comfortable and a little funny, something they'll actually wear while hauling a cart of balloons down the hall. Put their title on a tee, or add the name of the building or the residents' nickname for the crew. For a mug, a name on it keeps it out of the staff lounge shuffle. National Activity Professionals Week is the last full week of January, a natural moment to say thanks. If you're buying for a whole activities team, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name.
Activities Director gift questions
Can I add the name of the facility or community?
Many designs have a second line. Type the community name, a unit, or a team nickname there, and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
When is a good time to give an activities director a gift?
National Activity Professionals Week falls in the last full week of January each year. Birthdays, work anniversaries and the holidays are also good moments, since the whole community tends to notice them.
Can I put a different title like Life Enrichment Director on it?
Yes. Type whatever title they use, such as Life Enrichment, Recreation Director or Activity Coordinator, and the design updates to match.
Can I order for the whole activities department?
Yes. In the Team Shop, pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the activities director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an activities director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
