Picking a gift for an activity aide
Activity aides are the ones who make a long afternoon in a care community feel like something. They run the bingo game, wheel residents to the music hour, set up the craft table, and remember who likes the porch and who'd rather do the crossword. It's active work, mostly on your feet and often in the middle of a crowd, so a soft tee or a hoodie for the ride home gets worn more than a stiff novelty gift would. What makes a gift land is showing you noticed how much heart goes into the job. Put their name on it, add the facility or the unit, or choose a line that nods to what they actually do, like bingo caller or craft queen. A mug is a good fit for the early shift. If you're buying for the whole activities department, one shared design with each person's name on their own shirt beats a card everyone signs.
Activity Aide gift questions
Can I put a facility name or unit on an activity aide shirt?
Many designs have a second line you can fill in. Type the unit, the building name or a team name, and the preview updates so you can check how it looks before you order.
Is there an activity aide appreciation week?
Activity Professionals Week is celebrated every year in January. Dates can shift, so check the current year's before you plan an order, and give yourself a few weeks of lead time.
What's a good gift for an activity aide who's new to the job?
A tee or mug with their name on it is a friendly welcome to the team. It's useful, it's easy to wear on shift, and it shows you're glad they're there.
Can I order for the whole activities department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the activity aide shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an activity aide gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
