Picking a gift for an activity coordinator
An activity coordinator is the person who makes a care community feel like a community. They run the bingo games, the morning stretch class, the sing-alongs, the birthday parties and the craft tables, and they remember who likes what. It's a job done mostly on your feet, carrying supplies, setting up rooms and cheering on residents, often with a lanyard around your neck and a calendar that never stays empty. The best gifts for them are comfortable, easy to wear on a long day, and a little bit funny. Put their name on a tee or hoodie, or change the second line to the place they work, such as Sunrise Manor, Memory Care or Rec Department. Add a nickname residents use for them and it gets even better. If you're shopping for a whole activities team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name printed on their own shirt. Activity Professionals Week is held in late January, so that's a natural time to say thanks.
Activity Coordinator gift questions
Can I put the name of the care home or program on it?
Yes. Many designs have a second line you can use for the community, program or department name. Type it in and check the preview before you order.
When is Activity Professionals Week?
It's held in late January each year, so that's a good time to plan a gift. Order a little early if you're buying for a whole team.
Can a group of residents or families chip in on one gift?
Yes. A single mug or hoodie with their name on it works well as a shared gift, and you can add a short phrase on the second line if the design has one.
Do you have designs for related jobs like recreation therapist?
You can type any job title into a design. If a title is slightly different, such as life enrichment director, enter it exactly the way they use it.
What sizes do the activity coordinator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an activity coordinator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
