Picking a gift for an activity director
An activity director is the person who makes a care community feel like home. They plan the bingo games and craft hours, wrangle the van for outings, set up the holiday party, and somehow remember who loves hymn sing-alongs and who'd rather do the crossword. It's a job built on energy and patience, and a lot of it happens on their feet, hauling supplies and carrying a clipboard. The gifts that land are the ones that make them feel seen by the people they work so hard for. Put their name on a tee or hoodie, add the name of the community, or swap in a line that fits their style, like the one in charge of fun. Residents, families and coworkers often chip in together, and a group of matching shirts for the whole activities team makes a great thank-you around Activity Professionals Week in January.
Activity Director gift questions
When is Activity Professionals Week?
It's observed in January, usually the third week of the month, and it's the natural time to thank an activity director. Order a few weeks ahead so the gift arrives before the celebration starts.
Can I use a different title like activities coordinator?
Yes. Type whatever title they actually use, whether that's activity director, activities coordinator or life enrichment lead, and the preview updates to show it.
Can residents or families give one gift together?
Absolutely. Pick a mug or tee with their name and chip in as a group. It's a simple way to turn many small thank-yous into something they'll keep and use.
Can I order shirts for the whole activities department?
Yes. In the Team Shop, choose one design, paste in each person's name, and pick a size for each. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the activity director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an activity director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
